Analysis Note
pH-value (20 °C): 7.00 +/- 0.02
Measured after dilution to 500 ml with a combination glass electrode after multiple point calibration (according to DIN 19268) with reference materials for the preparation of standard buffer solutions according to DIN 19266.
Application
Buffer concentrate phosphate; pH=7.00±0.02 (20 °C) is used as standard buffer for calibrating pH meters to ensure accurate pH measurements.[1]
Features and Benefits
Traceable to primary standard reference materials from NIST and PTB
Analytical standard Grade
Uncertainty data and traceability are documented in a comprehensive and batch-specific Certificate of Analysis.
General description
The Titrisol® reference buffer concentrate [phosphate; pH=7.00±0.02 (20 °C)] is analyzed in the ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratory with a combined glass electrode and 5-point calibration according to DIN 19268 against a certified primary standard reference material following DIN 19266. The Titrisol® concentrated buffer material combines ease of use and maximum precision for the routine calibration and monitoring of pH instruments. To prepare the ready-to-use pH buffer solution, simply dilute the Titrisol® buffer concentrate.
