Application
Bronopol has been used as reference standard in ultra performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) coupled to inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (UPLC-ICP-MS) method for determination of bromine containing preservatives from cosmetic products.[1] Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. General description
Bronopol is a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent. It is mostly used as a preservative in cosmetic, toiletry etc. It is also used in aerosol formulations.1
