Spermidine may be used as one of the reference standard for the determination of spermidine in biological samples by high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization–ion trap tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC–ESI–ITMS/MS).[1] Biochem/physiol Actions
Inhibits neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS). Binds and precipitates DNA; Stimulates T4 polynucleotide kinase activity.
