Diethylene glycol dimethyl ether is a combustible liquid[4], which can be used in the synthesis of films, chemically similar to polyethylene glycol on low-density polyethylene and Si(100) surfaces via plasma polymerization and deposition.[5] This compound is listed in the SVHC (Substances of very high concern) candidate list of ECHA (European Chemicals Agency)
