DFTPP may be used as a reference compound to assess the abundance performance/calibration of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) systems prior to the determination of polychlorinated biphenyls in human serum,[1] pesticides in whole blood analysis,[2] nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in blood samples of clinical and forensic cases,[3] organic priority pollutants in the composts of sewage sludge with rice straw[4] and micropollutants in environmental and food samples.[5]

General description
