Victoria Pure Blue BO (VBPO) is a cationic dye belonging to the triarylmethane family.[3] Victoria Pure Blue BO-deethyl metabolite is reported as a potential biomarker for controlling the content of VPBO in farmed fish foodstuffs.[4]
