Application
The SRM is intended for chromatographic instrumentation calibration, used in the determination of hopanes and steranes.
Features and Benefits
The certified value of the SRM was determined by calculating the mass fraction values of three hopanes and four steranes which is obtained through two methods:
Gravimetric preparation of the solution.
The analytical results determined using gas chromatography.
The certified value is metrologically traceable to the SI unit of mass fraction, expressed as micrograms per gram.
The NIST certificate is provided with expiration certificate, storage, handling, use,and maintenance instructions.
General description
One unit of SRM 2266 contains five ampoules of 2 mL, with each consisting of about 1.2 mL ofsolution.
SRM 2266_cert
