Application
Sodium (Na) standard solution standard reference material (SRM) is intended for use as a primary calibration standard for the quantitative determination of sodium.
Features and Benefits
Available with a certified mass fraction value for sodium.
Certified value is based on;
1. Gravimetric preparation using high-purity sodium chloride.
2. Inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) calibrated using four primary standards independently prepared from high-purity sodium chloride.
Certified value is metrologically traceable to the International System of Units (SI) derived unit for mass fraction, expressed as milligrams per gram.
The NIST certificate is provided with storage, handling, and use instructions.
General description
The SRM 3152A unit consists of 50 mL of an aqueous sodium solution in a high-density polyethylene bottle, sealed in an aluminized bag. The solution was prepared gravimetrically to contain a known mass fraction of sodium in nitric acid at a mass fraction of 5 %.
SRM 3152A _SDS
SRM 3152A _CoA
