Investigating its effect on the activity of estrogen receptors including ERα, ERβ and the androgen receptor AR.[1]
Evaluating its developmental toxicity potential in prenatal Sprague-Dawley rats.[2]
It may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in food matrices using gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC-MS).[3]

General description
Ditridecyl phthalate is a high molecular weight compound belonging to the class of phthalic acid esters (PAEs), which are widely used in the manufacture of plastics, coatings, and cosmetics industries.[4] Ditridecyl phthalate is used in the manufacture of wires and cables.[2]
