Cyanidin 3-sambubioside is a polyphenolic compound that belongs to the class of anthocyanin flavonoids, which are largely present as pigments in fruits, flowers and leaves.[1][2] Cyanidin 3-sambubioside chloride is generally available as a chloride salt.
Application
Cyanidin 3-sambubioside chloride may be used as an analytical standard for the determination of the analyte in calyces of Hibiscus sabdariffa flower by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) technique.[3]
