(−)-Myrtenol is a naturally occurring monoterpene alcohol, belonging to the class of volatile organic compounds. It is widely used in fragrance, cosmetic products, cleaning agents and flavoring agents in a variety of food products.[1]
Application
(−)-Myrtenol may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in biological samples using high-performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection and electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry.[1]
