1,1-Dichloroethylene has been used as a reference standard for the analysis of residual 1,1-dichloroethylene in pharmaceutical drug substances by headspace gas chromatography (HS-GC).[1] It may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte in urban and industrial air,[2] whole blood[3] and water[4] by GC coupled with mass spectrometry (MS).
