2-Isobutyl-3-methoxypyrazine is a volatile aroma compound with a characteristic odor. It is one of the main constituents of bell peppers and is utilized commercially as a flavoring agent.[1]
Application
2-Isobutyl-3-methoxypyrazine may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in Capsicum annuum,[1] water samples[2] and Vitis vinifera C. V. Carménère wines[3] by chromatography based techniques.
