2,3,4,5-Tetrachlorophenol may be used as a reference standard in the determination of 2,3,4,5-tetrachlorophenol in water samples using dispersive liquid−liquid microextraction (DLLME) and derivatization combined with gas chromatography-electron-capture detector (GC-ECD).[1] 2,3,4,5-Tetrachlorophenol may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in landfill leachates,[2] aqueous samples,[3][4][5][1] and environmental samples[6] by various chromatographic techniques.
