1-Methoxynaphthalene, a methoxyphenolic compound, is a naphthalene derivative that finds application as a precursor for the preparation of pharmaceutical drugs, and also as a therapeutic agent.[1][2]
Application
1-Methoxynaphthalene can be used as an analytical standard for the determination of the analyte in tea beverages by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS)[1] and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)[3] techniques.
