General description
4-Aminopyridine is a small molecule potassium channel blocker[1], which stimulates the release of glutamate from nerve terminals and induces seizures.[2] It can also be used as a drug that aims to improve ambulatory impairment, a major symptom of multiple sclerosis disease.[1]
