General description
Acetochlor is a chloroacetanilide herbicide effective against soil bacteria. This selective pre-emergence herbicide inhibits the elongation of C18 and C16 fatty acids species to form very long-chain fatty acids (VLCFAs).[3][4][5] It is commonly used for weed control management and yellow nutsedge in corn plantation.[5] Legal Information
