Bemotrizinol is a fat-soluble organic UV filter that belongs to the family of methoxybenzenes. It is commonly used as a constituent of sunscreen products due to its ability to absorb UV-A radiations. It is commonly sold as Tinosorb S and Escalol S.[1]
