DL-2-Aminoadipic acid may be used as an analytical reference standard for the enantiomeric separation of the analyte in pharmaceutical and food samples using electrokinetic chromatography.[1] It may be used as an analytical standard for the quantification of the analyte in central carbon metabolism using gas chromatography-chemical ionization-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC-CI-QTOFMS).[2] General description
