Doripenem monohydrate can be used as the precursor for the preparation of doripenem which may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of doripenem in:
Bovine muscle by liquid chromatography combined with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).[1]
Bulk drug and formulations by high performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC).[2]
Medicinal products by capillary electrophoresis coupled to ultraviolet (UV) detector[3] as well as micellar electrokinetic chromatography (MEKC) with UV detection.[4]
