Application
Fine carbon standard referencematerial (SRM) is intended to evaluate the chemical analysis methods and tocalibrate the instrumental methods of analysis.
Features and Benefits
NIST certified values for mercury are provided, values are metrologically traceable to the SI unit of mass, expressed as milligrams per kilogram.
A reference value for gold is reported based on dry mass basis and determined by inductively coupled plasma massspectrometry (ICP-MS).
The information value for cyanide is provided and is determined using EPA method SW-846 9012a, and the mass fraction is reported on a dry mass basis.
Expiration details and instructions for use are provided on the NIST certificate.
General description
The SRM 2451 unit contains a bottle with 100 g of activated fine-powder carbon, which is obtained through the leaching of ore with a cyanide solution. For more information, please refer to the SDS and COA.
