General description
Glufosinate-ammonium is a phosphinic acid analog of glutamic acid.[1]
Application
Glufosinate-ammonium may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte in:
Human serum samples by mixed-mode solid-phase extraction (SPE), tert-butyldimethylsilyl (t-BDMS) derivatization and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) operating on electron impact (EI) mode of detection.[1]
Water samples by ion-exchange cleanup and derivatization followed by analysis using GC coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) equipped with EI mode of detection.[2]
Finnish arable soils by high performance liquid chromatography combined with fluorescence detection (HPLC-FLD).[3]
