Application
This SRM is intended to calibrate Seebeck coefficient measurement instruments for bulk materials within the temperature range of 10 K to 390 K.
Features and Benefits
Accompanied with certified values, obtained using a Quantum designphysical property measurement system (PPMS) through a differential steady-state(DC) technique; an uncertainty analysis was performed following the guidelines outlined in the ISO Guide.
The NIST certificate is provided with expiration certificate, storage, handling, use, and maintenance instructions.
General description
Each unit of SRM 3451 contains a bar-shaped artifact of chemical formula Bi2Te3+x, measuring approximately 3.5 mm × 2.5 mm × 8.0 mm. The material is non-stoichiometric bismuth telluride, with n-type conductivity and a Bi/Te mole ratio of about2/3.
