Application
Precursor to LAMOX fast ion conductors and superconductors.
Used in the solid state synthesis of a remarkable ternary, reduced molybdenum oxide, Pr4Mo9O18, whose structure contains previously unknown Mo7, Mo13 and Mo19 clusters. The new cluster product is a small band gap semiconductor.
General description
This Standard Reference Material (SRM) is a molybdenum oxide (MoO3) concentrate from a commercial mining and refining process. SRM 423 is intended for use in the evaluation of chemical and instrumental methods of analysis. A unit of SRM 423 consists of one pouch containing approximately 60 g of powder. For more information, please refer to the COA and SDS.
