Nonylphenol monoethoxylate has been used as an analytical standard for the determination of the analyte in soils treated with sewage sludge by pressurized liquid extraction (PLE), followed by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS).[1] It may be used as a reference standard for the analysis of the analyte in wastewater and sewage sludge by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS),[2] and in textile industry, waste water treatment plant effluents and surface waters by solid phase extraction (SPE) followed by LC-MS.[3] Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique.
