Application
Perylene may be used as an analytical standard along with a mixture of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) to determine the spatial distribution and sources of PAHs in surface sediments of rivers.[1] It may also be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in water samples using spectrofluorimetric technique.[2] Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique.
