Quercetin is a flavonoid that can be consumed in the diet. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative and anticarcinogenic properties. Quercetin 3-glucoside (Q3G) is a glucoside derivative of quercetin.[1]
Application
Q3G may be used as standard for calibration during HPLC analysis of diverse grape and wine phenolics using direct injection with UV-Vis photodiode array (DAD) and fluorescence detection.[2]
