Application
Rhodium (Rh) standard solution SRM is intended for use as a calibration standard for quantitative determination of rhodium.
Features and Benefits
The certified value of the SRM was determined by calculating the mass fraction values of Rhodium, which is obtained through inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES).
Certified value is metrologically traceable to the derived SI unit for mass fraction, expressed as milligrams per gram.
The NIST certificate is provided with expiration certificate, storage, handling, use, and maintenance instructions.
General description
One unit of SRM 3144 contains five sealed borosilicate glass ampoules, each containing 10 mL of an acidified aqueous solution prepared from high-purity ammonium hexachlororhodate (III). This solution contains approximately 6% hydrochloric acid by mass fraction.
