Solvent Yellow 124 is a marker dye, generally used in diesel oil as a green colorant[3], which can be analyzed using high performance liquid chromatography method (HPLC).[4] It is mainly used to prevent the misuse of low tax diesel fuel and as to also calculate the adulteration of road fuel with low tax diesel fuel.[5] Other Notes
