Application
The Standard Reference Material (SRM) is primarily intended for use as an internal standard in X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) for measuring sulfur in oils and other liquid hydrocarbon matrices.
Features and Benefits
NIST certified value for sulfur content is reported based on analyses by isotope dilution thermal ionization mass spectrometry (ID-TIMS)
Maintenance and expiration of SRM certificate, instructions for use are provided on the NIST certificate.
General description
One unit of SRM 2720 comprises five amber ampoules, each containing approximately 4.5 mL of di-n-butyl sulfide, sealed in an argon atmosphere. For more information, please refer to the COA and SDS.
