CryoKING Cryogenic Vial Closure Color Coders are accessories designed for visual identification and classification of cryogenic sample vials.
Made from strong, medical-grade polypropylene (PP), the color coders can withstand repeated freeze-thaw cycles. They feature universal screw threads and a sealing ring design, allowing them to fit cryogenic vials with either internal or external screw threads.
Different colors allow users to visually organize and distinguish sample groups according to sample type, experiment, storage condition, or other laboratory classifications.
The color coders are supplied non-sterile, but can be autoclaved at 121°C, frozen to -196°C, and stored in vapor-phase liquid nitrogen.
