General Purpose Sealing Film is manufactured from clear polypropylene film with a thickness of 2.0 mil, providing good optical clarity and easy handling. It is designed for use with both polystyrene and polypropylene plates, making it suitable for a wide range of routine laboratory applications.
The specially formulated adhesive provides an effective seal that helps minimize evaporation, reduce cross-contamination and prevent sample leakage during sample storage and laboratory processing.
The film is certified DNase- and RNase-free, making it suitable for molecular biology workflows where contamination control is important. It can be removed easily and cleanly from plate surfaces, while the film design helps minimize aerosol generation during removal.
Two perforated end tabs provide convenient handling, application and removal of the film.
