8mm PTFE Silicone Septa Pre-Slit

1) Description

8mm septa are indispensable accessories in chromatography analysis. They ensure the accuracy and repeatability of analytical data by providing reliable sealing and chemical stability. Choosing the appropriate septa material can ensure the best performance of the sample during the analysis process according to the specific needs of the experiment. PTFE provides excellent chemical inertness and is suitable for most solvents; silicone provides good sealing and flexibility. Composite septa combine the advantages of both materials, providing a solution that combines good sealing with chemical stability.

2) Application

HPLC and GC Autosampler Analysis
Open top caps are used where high-throughput sample analysis via an autosampler is required. This design allows the sampler needle of the autosampler to pass directly through the opening in the cap to extract the sample in the bottle without manually opening the vial cap, improving the efficiency and accuracy of analysis. For laboratories that conduct a large number of sample tests, the use of open top caps with automatic samplers can significantly improve the speed and repeatability of sample processing and reduce human errors during operation.
