1) Description
The UltraClean 18mm tin screw cap is a special processing method exclusive to ALWSCI. This process is designed to enhance the cap’s sealing performance compared to untreated ultraclean caps, ensuring the bottle cap gasket remains securely in place throughout the sample processing and analysis. The cap gasket provides consistent sealing, especially if the vial is punctured multiple times. Such a design can reduce variables during testing and improve the repeatability and reliability of test results.
2) Applications
Frequent sampling : In applications requiring repeated punctures through the same cap, such as gas chromatography with multiple injections, it is essential to ensure that the cap gasket remains effectively sealed after each puncture.
Automated sampling system : Modern chromatography often uses automated sampling devices, which automatically feed the sample needle into the bottle cap. In this case, the cap gasket needs to be able to withstand repeated mechanical manipulation without falling off.
