I’Screen CORTICO is a competitive enzyme immunoassay designed for the quantitative analysis of corticosteroids.

The assay is based on competition between corticosteroids present in the sample and an enzyme-labeled corticosteroid conjugate for binding to specific anti-corticosteroid antibodies. Following the assay procedure, color development is measured at 450 nm using a microplate reader. Color intensity is inversely proportional to the corticosteroid concentration in the sample.

The kit provides sufficient materials for 96 determinations, including standards. Validated sample matrices include urine, liver, muscle, milk and feed.
