UltraSnap® is a self-contained ATP surface test device designed for use with Hygiena luminometers. The system measures Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), the universal energy molecule found in animal, plant, bacterial, yeast, mold cells and organic residues, to verify surface cleanliness after cleaning.
The pre-moistened swab maximizes sample recovery and helps break through biofilms. After sampling, Hygiena’s patented Snap-Valve technology activates the liquid-stable luciferase/luciferin reagent, producing a bioluminescent reaction that is measured by the luminometer to determine ATP levels.
UltraSnap® is widely used for hygiene monitoring in:
- Food processing facilities
- Dairy plants
- Beverage manufacturing
- Healthcare facilities
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Cleanrooms
- Hospitality and food service
The system enables rapid sanitation verification, helping organizations improve cleaning effectiveness and support HACCP and quality assurance programs.
