The Glyphosate ELISA Plate and Derivatization Kit is designed for Glyphosate analysis using a direct competitive ELISA method. Samples are derivatized before being analyzed in the microtiter plate.

During the assay, Glyphosate present in the sample competes with enzyme-labeled Glyphosate for binding sites on anti-Glyphosate antibodies. Following incubation, washing, and substrate addition, a blue color reaction is generated. The color intensity is inversely proportional to the Glyphosate concentration in the sample. Results are measured using an ELISA reader at 450 nm and calculated by interpolation from the standard curve generated for each run.

The kit includes materials and reagents required for sample derivatization and Glyphosate analysis. Sample extraction materials are not included because extraction requirements vary depending on the sample matrix.
