General description
(−)-α-Bisabolol is a monocyclic sesquiterpene alcohol naturally found in the essential oil of different plants like Vanillosmopsis erythropappa and Matricaria chamomilla.[1] It finds applications in clinical and cosmetic industries due to its pharmacological properties like anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant, antimicrobial and skin healing property.[1][2] It also shows effective action against malignant tumor cells.[1] Other Notes
