Application
3-Methylindole may be used as an analytical reference standard
for the quantification of the analyte in the following:
Faeces intestinal contents, and bacterial cultures using gas chromatography with nitrogen-phosphorus detector (GC-NPD).[1]
Adipose tissue of pigs using reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography with UV detection (RP-HPLC-UV).[2]
Pit mud and baijiu (SAB) samples using gas chromatography-olfactometry (GC–MS/O) and gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC–MS).[3]
