Application
4,4′-DDT may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the chlorinated pesticide:
In water by solid-phase microextraction followed by gas chromatography (GC) coupled with an electron capture detector.[1]
In human biological samples by gas chromatography (GC) with mass spectrometry (MS) detector in tandem mode.[2]
It may also be used as a standard to spike milk samples during extraction method, further followed by column chromatography to determine organochlorine pollutants.
Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
