General description
Menaquinone (K2), a vitamin K2 homologue with four isoprene units.[1] It has been reported to enhance bone formation[2] and plays a vital role in the production of blood coagulation factors.[3] Application
Menaquinone may be used as a reference standard for the determination of menaquinone in human plasma using liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry.[4] Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique.
