ROb from Cell Applications, Inc. have been used to evaluate a novel hydroxyapatite (HAp)/poly(l-lactic acid) (PLLA) nanocomposite nonwoven fabric, coated with calcined HAp nanocrystals as a material for bone regeneration and demonstrated better spreading on the nanocrystal-coated vs. uncoated surface (Yanagida, 2011). Characterization: Positive for bone mineralization.

Preparation Note
1st passage, >500,000 cells in Rat Osteoblast Basal Medium that contains 10% FBS and 10% DMSO
Can be cultured at least 10 population doublings

Analysis Note
Each lot was tested for proper morphology, Population Doublings, Negative for HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, mycoplasma, bacteria, and fungi.
