Resveratrol (RV) has been used as a reference standard for the determination of trans- and cis-resveratrol in wine by capillary electrophoresis method.[1] Selective inhibitor of COX−1.
General description
Resveratrol (RV) is a polyphenol nonflavonoid compound mainly found in grapes and red wine [2] and also in some strong pigmented fruits and vegetables that exhibits antitumor, antioxidant, antiviral, and phytoestrogenic biological activities.[3] This certified reference material (CRM) is produced and certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034. This CRM is traceable to primary material from an NMI, e.g. NIST or NMIJ.
