Application
Standard reference material 1107 is intended for validating chemical and instrumental methods for elemental analysis of brass alloys.
Features and Benefits
Available with NIST-certified values as well as reference mass fraction and Coverage Factor (k) values of elements in Naval brass estimated using a Gaussian random effects model [3–5] and the DerSimonian-Laird procedure.
The certified values are metrologically traceable to the SI unit of mass, expressed as a percent.
Information values for elements are provided and expressed as mass fractions.
Expiration details and instructions for use, storage, and handling are provided on the NIST certificate.
General description
Each unit of SRM 1107 consists of a solitary disk measuring around 3.2 cm in diameter and 1.9 cm in thickness. For more information, please refer to the COA and SDS.
